From problem-solving assessment to talent cultivation, collaborating with two major universities to discover student's talents

Thousands of people have applied for the World Mathematics and Problem Solving Assessment in the past two years to build a rich resume and gain exclusive networking opportunities . Opportunities continue this year. We have joined forces with two universities to bring more expansion opportunities to primary and secondary school students who love mathematics, and continue to cultivate their creative thinking and logical thinking!

Students who apply for the assessment of "Mathematics" and "Problem Analysis" and obtain excellent results at the same time will be recommended to participate in the following enrichment courses ! The "Center for the Development of the Gifted and Talented" organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's aims to provide interdisciplinary learning opportunities for students with potential and broaden their academic horizons. Students will experience the university's teaching model and learning environment. The course is designed with appropriate content for primary and secondary school students. Some exciting topics include:

Blended Learning: Appreciating Mathematics in Modern Life
A brief discussion on the mathematical principles of game theory
Engineering Vision: Renewable Energy and Energy Conversion
Initial exploration and advanced programming in Python
Basic Microbiology: Germs or Treasures

The Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management of the Chinese University of Hong Kong will give priority to double-exceptional students (secondary school students only) to participate in the course System Modeling and Optimization (SMO) free of charge , allowing students with a strong interest in mathematics to experience how to effectively use system tools for problem solving. The course duration is 9.5 hours, and you will learn about the following topics through 3 classes:

Model real-world problems with functions and algebra
Simulate real-world problems with optimization methods
Use Microsoft Excel to solve optimization problems
