QCA Head of e-Strategy, Mr Ripley, met Hong Kong secondary school principals to exchange ideas on World Class Arena and creating inspirational learning environment

On 23 February 2005, Mr. Martin Ripley, Head of e-Strategy, founder of WCA, English Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), officiated at a luncheon with eminent secondary school principals in Hong Kong. He demonstrated to the Hong Kong academics a groundbreaking example, World Class Arena, showing how inspirational learning environment could be fostered and how students' performance could be efficiently measured through e-Assessment. Endorsing World Class Arena, Ms. Lillian Law, Assistant Director (Strategy & Development), The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, Growth & Development Center and Principal Cheung Chi Hong, Vice Chairman, Hong Kong Aided Primary School Heads Association also share their views on children's problem solving skills development. The luncheon was well-received by the principals.
Mr. Martin Ripley, Head of e-Strategy, founder of WCA, English Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), explained the background and development of the world first benchmarking tests for children Aged 8 -14. He also shared with the guests his experience on how to stimulate and raise children's problem solving abilities.
The speeches were well-received by the eminent Hong Kong secondary school principals.
